The dawn was not far from the dark on that day. It was 26th
November 2012. Having no option, we whisked to Agarwal eye hospital in the
morning. I couldn’t open my eye due to the severe affliction.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS - II
Posted by Vinoth Subramanian | Monday, December 15, 2014 Categories: Own Experience, Short Story
Nearly 11 years ago, I was studying in Saint Louis school
for the blind and staying in the hostel. We were playing cricket on a Sunday as
usual. The batsman was my senior. Accidentally, the bat hit on the nose of the
junior while he was rotating. He was bleeding and sniveling. He was taken to
our warden’s room for medication. At the same time, I was also standing in
front of our warden’s room for dressing. I got an injury at my finger while
fielding was the reason.

Three themes, 20-20-10
1
Your peace is broken into pieces!
Sometimes, cruel thorns are less dangerous than roses.
I tell you myself, you are also a Jesus!
Since, you need to carry some invisible crosses.

It was 6:00 in the evening. My mother and I were watching a
Tamil movie “Onayum Attukuttiyum” on our Laptop. She felt disgusted while
watching some scenes. She lost her interest and asked me to stop the movie.
Meanwhile my father entered along with my brother. They seemed confused and
restive.

LOVE IS THE ANCIENT RELIGION

One of my brother’s friends had told him that his sister was
in love with someone which he didn’t like at all. My brother was sharing it
with me while we were engaging in the expedition.
I wanted to know the problem to the fullest for it was a
love story. Some love stories would be logical, some would be emotional, some
would be comical and the rest must be tragical. Nonetheless it is sure that all
the love stories are capable of enthralling the listeners up to certain extent.

She doesn’t like rain, and her name is Megha, currently
studying with me.
“I am going to beat rain if it comes today.” She said it to
me in Tamil. But I couldn’t reply instead laughed. She is not that much
familiar with Tamil since she has possessed nearly five languages. However she
speaks very well with some beautiful errors. If her errors become the rules of
this Tamil language, I’d say, the language will become immortal and will
survive for million centuries.

Posted by Vinoth Subramanian | Thursday, July 31, 2014 Categories: Article, Culture, Micro Prostitution, Own Experience
Once upon a time, since I begin like this, dear readers, please don’t consider this as a short story or a novel. It’s a plight of our present culture and an essay about a toppling society which contained moral value in a highest degree. Once upon a time, our state (Tamilnadu) was known as a mossback in the world and undoubtedly replete with greatest votaries, loyal leaders, strengthened lads, chaste ladies, fabulous customs, and beautiful traditional values and so on. But today? We need not bother about the upper class people, leaders, tycoons, and fake votaries. On the other hand we cannot prolong to agitate these bon vivants who are perpetually sucking our cultural values from poor canaille.

Once I was reading Bacon’s essays, I came across these following lines.
“Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few
To be chewed and digested;” likewise, some girls are to be forgotten, others to be thought, and some few to be mused and remembered.

The Unforgettable person and the Unforgettable day of my life. ch 2
Posted by Vinoth Subramanian | Saturday, June 07, 2014 Categories: Own Experience, Short Story
10th December 2009
The drama begins now. We went to SNPT College around 8.30 in the morning.
Our team leader came, and many resource persons too arrived. Leo introduced me as his friend, but I know that I am not qualified for this. I always consider me as his disciple. All of them were elder to me including Leo. They asked us to proceed to the class.
Mr. Lincoln, the Founder Director of Udayam Foundation who was also our leader, was speaking to the students.
In due course Leo asked me to take class for twenty five minutes. After some time he quietly knocked the table. I wrapped up my speech.
He said “I asked you to speak for 25 minutes but you did it for 35 minute, Very Good.” I said “Sorry brother.”
One of our resource persons came and invited me to the next class. I said “Let brother come.”
Leo replied “I won’t be coming with you; don’t worry they will take care of you.”
That sir whispered “Mr. Vinoth you have 8 more classes to teach, six before lunch, and two after.
Then I asked Leo, “Brother what is this? I have prepared only for 25 minutes.”
Leo replied “Just share your experience, it will inspire them.”
I indignantly asked “what is there to share?”
“Go, go, you are already behind the time.” Said Leo and went inside to continue his class.
They were taking me here and there, and asking me to speak all my experience. I had no time to call them to mind. I had only few things to speak. However, I started recollecting my incidents and sayings of my teachers and parents. When I finished one class, I got only half a minute to prepare for the next. Nevertheless, I completed my morning session
In the afternoon they left me alone and said that each class requires one hour speech. Fortunately they said to me during the lunch. Finally I managed to speak. I had a good interaction with the students in the noon time. My class got over at 3.55.
Eventually brother came and joined me at four o clock. Then he kept something in my pocket and asked me to keep it safe. Then we departed from SNPT and Reached Loyola around 6 p.m.
I thought that this is the right time to return his money which he kept in my pocket but he refuse to accept it and told me to keep as it belongs to me.
“I didn’t come for money,” Said I, and tried my level best to give back the money. He said “This is your remuneration for your work, you deserve it.”
“I don’t deserve anything and I never expected this would happen. Surely I can’t get it from you, and I added in a sorrowful tone, “I had a very good day with you and the students. Please don’t make it a sad one.”
“This is our custom, not only ours but also everyone else. You sow; you reap, Give it to your parents and tell the whole thing to them.” said Leo in a professional tone.
Finally he won the verbal battle.
12th December 2009
I would still remember that Saturday. I went home, gave the money to my father and said the whole lot to my parents. Then I came out to have a wash. In the interim my ears heard something. My parents were talking to each other. My mother said happily “First income of our Second son” and father further added “Keep it in front of God’s photo.”

The Unforgettable person and the Unforgettable day of my life.
Posted by Vinoth Subramanian | Friday, June 06, 2014 Categories: Own Experience, Short Story
Hi All!!!
I am Vinoth Subramanian
This is my own story. I write this incident in order to show my gratitude towards a blessed soul.
That concerned person was not aware of my writing as it was written for my assignment.
Actually I thought of reading it in my class, but time did not give its blessing to me to tell about my incident and about my friendly GURU. I literally felt unhappy for not revealing it in my class. But then I realized that God expects something more from me. That is the reason why I am posting it on blog about this (unforgettable incident and the unforgettable man) in my life. Let the world know about this great man.
Before I begin I should reveal an important thing. (I AM A BLIND MAN),
Yes! Visually challenged as called nowadays.
December 9, 20o9
That was the month of December, and a pure Wednesday around nine at night, I received a call.
“Hello” said I.
“This is Leo” said a well known voice.
“Hi brother what a surprise; that too at night?” asked I.
“Nothing, Had your dinner?” asked Leo. “Yes brother” I replied.
After a while he asked me, “Will you be free on to-morrow?”
I said “with five classes.”
Then Leo beseeched “Can you sacrifice them?”
“For what reason?” replied I, in a tone of mystification
“I have been invited for a seminar tomorrow, they need one more person to join, can you make it?” retorted me with question.
“You want me to attend?” asked I humorously
“No, to present” said he.
“What?” asked I shockingly
“Yes, we are going to do it” answered he in a cool manner.
“What! Then why are you calling me? ” replied I, in an unclear mind.
Leo replied me in detail. “I know that you can do it. You are going to motivate them. Get ready with the speech at seven O’ clock in the morning.”
I was really shocked and totally confused. Then I asked him “Oh! Brother I can’t do it. How do you think that I can handle youth, that too a motivational speech?”
He smiled and said “Don’t deny just share your past experience; I will be with you throughout the day.”
“How many minutes do I need to speak?” asked I.
“Just prepare for 25 minutes. Don’t worry I will guide you”. Take Care. See you tomorrow. Good Night
